NEWARK, Nov. 25 — Newark Liberty International Airport Police arrested Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Brett Favre for possession and public use of marijuana at the airport’s AirTrain station midday Saturday. Officials said that Favre, currently slotted to play Monday night in Seattle despite an elbow injury sustained on Sunday, was jovial upon his arrest. Police also confiscated stolen property including Timberland boots, a retro CB snow bib and a wig. Favre was released early Sunday morning and is scheduled to depart for Seattle early Monday.
